Interests: All Nintendo things. Most varieties of music with exclusion to loud yelling with random drum beats behind it, and rap. All my friends interest me, of course. Expertise: At video games, I shine. I play instruments well (or at least, well enough). And, although I'm a tad hesitant to say it, I'm an expert in themed card games. Yay.

| So this last weekend, I went to the mall with Angelo. Found some neat stuff, did some cool things. Went back to his house, chilled, and watched the roast of Pamela Anderson. I laughed like a little girl. Woke up in the morning, and then we had band practice. It was the first time four of us actually played together. Here's to all five the next time, ha ha. Went over well, got everybody pumped. Then I went to see Disturbia, which was an absolutely awesome movie. I would go see it again. I want it actually. It was good. Elaine came over afterward. We chilled. The next day we had another band practice. Just Jake, Angelo, and I for that one.
I'm not feeling very spectacular right now. I like feeling good, eh? So let's have some good. Alright!
I've been having really good dreams lately, though. Like, the last couple of days. Like, one time I dreamed that Lawrenson was back, and this awesome production was going on for seniors. And all the seniors were happy and everybody was talking to each other. It made me feel all soft and mushy inside.
I love weekends like this last one. Wild, eventful, out of the blue.
I haven't gotten a new game in a long time. That sucks. I love having really interesting crazy captivating games.
Doesn't getting let down when you have hopes for something or someone suck a little bit? I think so. Like, if you really want to be buddies with someone, and they just kinda... don't? That's not always fun.
Peace.

| Well, I've been accepted to PLU and Western so far, and I got a really good financial package from PLU. I've gotten enough scholarships to pretty much cover the entire cost of going to PLU. That's crazy, if you ask me. I'm not really sure if I should be picking a private university over a public one because I'd be kinda missing out on the whole mass population experience. Because in a public college, there would ALWAYS be something going on. If you ever didn't have something to do for a while, you just kinda step outside your dorm and you're set. But a private college seems like it offers a more solid and concentrated environment. Still stuff happening, but a more exciting class experience, you know?
This weekend, I went with Sterling and Tad to see 300, though I wound up sitting next to Andy and Rachel. It was a really good movie apart from the awkward slow motion sex scene, ha ha. Then I went to Angelo's the next day, and we went around town, filled ourselves with some hearty junk food, and then watched Tenacious D. Good movie.
Today I went all hard core and lifted hay, carrying it through treacherous fields of mud with only my little low top sneakers. Stupid thing to do with my shoes. It was kinda fun, but I've got scratches all up my arms.
I like the way life's going these days. I feel like a fortunate individual.

| So I'm pretty much really excited about the WoW party that's shaping up. A Shaman, Rogue, Warlock, and Hunter. That spells pwn if you ask me.
You know, since I started New Market, I've met some neat people. Ted, Toeri, Jered, Chris, Don, Dylon, Demery, Jessica, Heather, Nathan.
I think I spend too much time on my laptop, it's starting to get a little crazy. I really need to finish transposing that Quintet song... And write my essays for the UPS application. Speaking of which, I've applied to three colleges! Yeah! r0xx0rz
I really like to draw... I never used to, but now, for some reason, I really enjoy it. I've already got one of my drawings on my computer so I can edit it a bit and post it.
So tomorrow, I have an oboe recital. All of my teacher's students will be playing a solo at it. It's at that one church in Olympia that I forgot the name of... somewhere near Subway, at like, 2:00 p.m. or something.
Whenever I go to basketball games, there's always tons of candy going everywhere. Everybody has like, Starburst, or Sour patch kids, or Swedish Fish, or whatever. And somehow, I wound up with like, forty freaking mini tootsie pops at my house since the last game. I'm really sure how that went.
I wish there were more hours in a day... There aren't enough. Like, school and work hours shouldn't change, there should just be more hours in a single day total, like, thirty maybe. That way, I could have plenty of time to do all the things I'm supposed to while still allowing some distractions. And I wish that people didn't sleep.

| Ever get that feeling like somebody is purposely not talking to you? Like, they'll respond if you say something to them, but they've definitely got it in their heads that they are NOT bringing up a topic to initiate discussion. And when you decide that maybe hanging out and having fun will work some things out, they can always have a critical reason to exclude themselves from your plans.
It goes around, you know? It's High School, I guess.
Well, in other news. I've started playing WoW again. It's pretty darn cool these days. Something about starting something fresh and new makes it seem more interesting than it was the first time.
I've also seemed to have developed a new look, as plenty of my fellow peers have surely noticed. I'm growing a beard, and I'm actually spiking my hair back a bit. I like it a lot better. Easier to manage, honestly, and it's been a long time since I made a significant change, as far as appearance goes.
I have the PLU Honor Band auditions, the UW and PLU admission auditions, the solo/ensemble contest where I'll be in three performances total, Choir solo/ensemble contest, a piano solo for some weird school demonstration thing showing off the new piano at the end, piano lesson material, oboe recital, oboe senior recital, drumline performance, two jazz band solos, and then, of course, the YHS concert coming up. Oy. That is ridiculous.
In any case, I hope everybody enjoys the weekend. And enjoy the rest of winter.
